Your residential publication will be exceptional in all aspects: creativity, high-quality full-color reproduction, new design concepts, paper stock, accuracy, and quantities to meet your needs.
If your project requires photographic assistance, MARCOA offers the services of a local, professional photographer (at no cost) to take all the photographs in accordance with the your direction. Once received at our headquarters, MARCOA sends prints, slides, and negatives to our
scanning department to be converted into high-resolution digital images. These files are then placed on our file server where the digital images are combined with your editorial copy in our
graphics program to create the proofs you receive prior to publication.
MARCOA does not limit the number of multiple (four-color processed) reproduction photographs or graphics desired by the association in the design of their front and back covers and editorial pages, including pages providing local area information.
MARCOA can provide four-color
foldout maps within your publication. MARCOA’s own in-house
cartographers will prepare this map in accordance with your direction and use spot color to indicate different resident areas and other significant topographical items.
The editorial pages can be
printed on a minimum of 60-pound gloss enamel stock in full color and the telephone directory can be printed on a minimum of 50-pound offset.
The covers can be printed on a minimum of 80-pound heavy cover stock. MARCOA offers either a high-gloss ultraviolet (UV) coating or a special UV matte coating finish for your directory cover. The matte coating ensures cover durability without showing fingerprints on a dark colored cover.
Additionally, we offer the option of die cutting, embossing, foil embossing, lamination, thermography process or combination of as determined by design layout and approved by you.
