Advertising Sales/Sales Management
MARCOA is a sophisticated and progressive advertising sales company. In order to maintain our aggressive growth strategy, we are continuously seeking specialists who can learn our sales methodologies and quickly move into sales management. Our sales specialists and local advertising sales managers enjoy top earnings from our industry leading compensation package.
The job of a MARCOA sales specialist is to call on large, mid-size and small businesses of all types, all day-every day- with the intent of closing the sale in one or two calls. This is necessary as each market campaign has a short window in which all sales must occur. MARCOA's most successful sales specialists and managers have a strong work ethic; need little supervision, and have a natural, intuitive "close now" mentality.
Advertising sales experience is not a requirement. However, a history of successful sales, especially sales to businesses, is a plus.
About half of our sales specialists work out of six regional business publication offices. Our military sales specialists do not work out of permanent offices, but coordinate directly with the Public Affairs Office of the applicable military installation.

Production and Administration
All of MARCOA's production and administrative personnel operate out of our corporate headquarters in San Diego. Our production division includes graphic composers, cartographers, quality control, computer-to-plate specialists, press operators, database research specialists, and advertising coordinators. In administration, we hire sales communication representatives, customer service representatives, accounting and human resources staff, information technology specialists, and shipping and receiving personnel.
